Industry Members interested in making a presentation at DFI's annual SuperPile conference, being held in 2016 on June 7-9 at the Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago, should submit a brief abstract describing the subject matter of their proposed presentation no later than Friday, January 8, 2016.
DFI is searching for presentations on the following topics:
* Projects Specific to the Chicago-Metro area
* Augered Cast-in-Place and Drilled Displacement Piles
* Drilled Shafts
* Driven Piles
* Marine Foundations
* Micropiles
* Seismic and Lateral Loads
* Testing and Evaluation
* Ground Improvement (related to piling)
* Helical Piles and Tiebacks

ABSTRACTS - DEADLINE December 4, 2015
DFI's 41st Annual Conference is introducing a new technical track in 2016, featuring seepage control and remediation for dam and levee projects worldwide. To reflect this addition, the conference title is DFI International Conference on Deep Foundations, Seepage Control and Remediation. As always, the DFI conference will attract industry professionals from across the globe to gather and share experiences, exchange ideas and learn the current state-of-the-practice from various disciplines. Engineers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, owners, government agencies and academicians will meet in Oakland to attend informative technical sessions, learn more about the latest innovations in deep foundations technology in the Exhibit Hall and much more. The added technical track will also provide a forum for exchange on risk management learned from major dam and levee rehabilitation projects being performed in North America and knowledge gained from the design and construction of new dams and flood control systems around the world.

50th US Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium
50th US Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium will be held in Houston, Texas, USA on 26-29 June 2016. The 2016 program will focus on new and exciting advances in rock mechanics and geomechanics.
